ASIATICS:

It seems that these are genetically softnecks, but behave as hardnecks in our climate. Asiatics have from 3 to 8 cloves of good size. They tend to run on the hot side in flavor; some excruciatingly so when eaten raw. If you like it strong and hot, try some Asiatics.

FRENCH RED ASIAN:
To eat raw: First dial 911, then proceed! Emergency personnel should arrive in time to dispose of your body!!! Our on staff "taster" popped one small clove in his mouth and chewed. He experienced intense pain and numbing of the tongue and jaw area. Paralysis extended down the right side of neck, while an intense ringing raged in the right ear. After a couple of minutes, this subsided to a warm, flavorful garlic taste that whispered "wanna try again?". On our "hot" chart, we have nothing else that can beat it.

PYONG VANG:
A mildly hot Asiatic with 5 to 8 cloves per bulb. Wonderful garlic flavor that remains even when baked. From North Korea.

KOREAN MOUNTAIN: SOLD OUT
Extra hot to begin, then settles to a satisfying full garlic flavor. Only 3 to 5 very large cloves which makes it handy in the kitchen. Don't be without this one.

ASIAN TEMPEST:
Very large cloves numbering 3 to 5 per bulb. Very satisfying sweet garlic flavor when cooked. Be careful though! This is another Asiatic that's totally serious bout it's rating on the "hot" charts. This is a five alarm garlic, and a must have for the hot freaks! From South Korea.

WONHA: SOLD OUT
You're bound to be pleased with the most wonderful garlicky smooth flavor. This one is a great choice in the kitchen. 3 to 5 cloves with an extra hot bite. From North Korea.
